Do What Ever it Takes

Have you ever had one of those days when you felt like crap and have barely made it through the day and then realized you still had an event to attend that night?

I have.  In fact, I had one a few years ago when I was supposed to go see a speaker talk about the law of attraction.  That day my head was stuffed up and I could hardly get out of bed.  My body ached and it took everything I had just to make it through the day.  About four o’clock that afternoon I remembered I had an event to go to that night.

I once read a story about Donald Trump and how he had forced himself to attend a Black Tie dinner that he didn’t want to go to.  When he arrived at the event he was seated next to a person from a bank he owed a lot of money to.  They were able to set up a meeting and agree on how he would settle his debt with that bank.  He said that if he hadn’t forced himself to go to that dinner he probably wouldn’t have been able to work out as good of a deal with the bank.

I decided to go.

That night the speaker talked about how the understanding and application of the law of attraction relates to the quality of your life, wealth and your degree of success.  He went on to say that most people only measure one dimension of success.  They relate the level of their success to the amount of money they have in the bank and tend to neglect other important items like; financial, relationships, health, career and spiritual.

He also mentioned that you attract into your life whatever you give your attention, focus, and energy to.  And this can work for things you want as well as what you don’t want.

You need to think of yourself as a magnet.  Whatever energy you put out there will come back to you.  If you are put out crappy energy you attract crappy results.  It’s important to realize that you can be putting out great energy in one part of your life and crappy energy in another area of your life.

You are always attracting something so you need to monitor your thoughts.  How you feel determines what kind of a magnet you are.  If you feel good, you will experience joy, happiness, peace.  If you feel bad you experience anger, sadness, doubt.

Lack of clarity is the biggest obstacle people face in their attempt to apply the law of attraction.

You need to get clear on what you want and not worry about the how.

  • Write down what you want.
  • Look at your career, your relationships, your health, your finances, where you want to be in five years.
  • Don’t limit yourself when doing this.
  • Dream big!

The lesson here is sometimes you just need to suck it up and go to an event even when you don’t feel like it.

You might just have your life changed.
